Jupiter Moving Backwards

Okay, so now Jupiter has officially gone retrograde.

Grumble grumble grumble.

I guess we can get used to a few months of tight money, declining business trends, and more pessimism than optimism to deal with. Jupiter will stay retrograde until November 18, so I guess we might as well just kick back and forget about expending too much effort until then.

Of course, by that point we will be in the middle of football season and Thanksgiving will be coming up. Maybe the best plan is to just hang out a while, wait until Turkey Day, take a good nap after the game, and then get to work after that....

Harmonic Research Associates Has A Sale Going On!

I just found out that Harmonic Research Associates has a sale going on-- 20% off everything in their online store through the end of July.

As far as I can tell they haven't done much advertising, so when I got their press release I thought I would pass the word along. You won't really see anything about the sale on their website, but if you put items in the shopping cart and then use Coupon Code JULY20PERCENT when you check out, the 20% discount kicks in.

When you go to their website you'll find books, CDs, DVDs and a bunch of other stuff, including some things on sales techniques, the Law of Attraction, and various other items. But what's interesting about this sale is the fact that they sell a bunch of financial astrology items, too-- including the Basic Stock Market Astrology Home Study Course, Profitable Trading with Planetary Timing, and Tim Bost's new monograph on The Solar Eclipse of July 2010: Its Impact on the Markets.

There's stuff in the Harmonic Research Associates store that's pretty affordable anyway, and the July sale just sweetens the deal. But some of the financial astrology items are on the pricey side, which is what makes the sale really worth checking into.

For example, with this sale going on you can knock $400 off the price of the Basic Stock Market Astrology Home Study Course, or save more than $100 on the Profitable Trading with Planetary Timing.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

New Solar Eclipse Report

I've just been checking out Tim Bost's new monograph on The Solar Eclipse of July 2010: Its Impact on the Markets.

Very cool.

There's some interesting historical stuff in it, and some good work on the parts of the economy that will get hit by this eclipse. And the trading record is pretty impressive, also it's good to have the list of possible trades coming up in late July.

But Tim Bost is the editor of FinancialCyclesWeekly.com, which is an extremely detailed and analytical website and newsletter, and that same attention to detail shows up in this new e-book on the July solar eclipse.

For example, there's a list of all the exact dates that we can look for eclipse triggers to impact market action, with about 7 or 8 months of day-by-day listings. The whole thing takes up a number of pages, but this is definitely information I'll be printing out and keeping on my desk.

This is one to check out-- you can find it at http://tinyurl.com/julyeclipse2010 .

Tiger Woods & Water Signs

Tiger Woods is a big money-maker, but his horoscope shows that he has very little planetary influence in water signs.

A lack of water? Maybe this is how he makes up for it-- take a look at this Golf Blog!

Mercury is Retrograde again!

Yep. The planet of communication and commerce is moving backasswards again, and I'm already feeling it!

Lost my car keys this morning. Took me almost 45 minutes to find them!

Mercury retrograde also hits the stock market, too, but the hard part is trying to figure out exactly how!

Some market astrologers call it a time for a "counter-trend" which can sometimes mean a big correction. But more than once I've gotten fooled by that and ended up on the wrong side of the trade.

I guess whether you decide to stay in the market with Mercury retrograde depends a lot on how you handle risk. It's just a real good time to watch your money closely. Be careful how much you spend and where you put things. Don't leave your checkbook with your car keys and lose them both!

The bad part is that Mercury retrogrde lasts 3 weeks. It won't be over this time until May 11th.

Anybody ready for a 3-week nap?

Help for Astro-Traders is On the Way!

Take a look at this-- sounds good! Tim Bost never seems to stop coming out with new stuff. Did you catch his YouTube video a couple of days ago on Goldman Sachs? He says we can expect the stock to go down soon because of the Mercury retrograde station coming up, but I don't know for sure. I guess we will find out soon enough!!

Arch Crawford Interview in a Very Strange ("Occultic?") Reading

Here's a long reading of a printed interview on astrology and the stock market. Except for the very slow reading and the boring images, this video does present some interesting comments from financial astrologer Arch Crawford. It's actually in 2 parts.

Here's Part 2:

Learning to Trade with Astrology

I just spotted a new blog where somebody is tracking their experiences getting starting with the process of trading in the stock markets. Their using some stock tips from an astrologer it looks like, which apparently are doing pretty well so far.

I'll be checking in from time to time just to check up and see how its going, and will let you know.

You might want to take a look, too. Check it out for yourself at Learning To Trade With Astrology.

Waiting for Mars

Man! It was hard enough getting through the Mercury Retrograde thing last month, but I'm still having lots of trouble getting anything done! It must be the Mars Retrograde that's whacking me now!

I've been watching the stock market do lots of crazy stuff, wondering if I should be trading stocks or maybe just put more of my time into studying astrology. Or maybe I should really get serious about using astrology in planning my investment portfolio, or learning how to really get good with FOREX. Or something.

I think I could really get good at making money trading in the markets if I could just figure out a little more about how all the W. D. Gann stuff, the George Bayer stuff, and the new stuff from astrologers like Bill Meridian, Ray Merriman, Tim Bost, and Arch Crawford all fits together.

Maybe some day I'll learn all the Gann secrets, read all the financial astrology books, and somehow get it all to make sense. But right now my brain is just too tired.

Mars won't be back into direct motion until March 10, which right now seems like a long time to wait. But I guess that's what I'll have to do.

Wonder if there's anything good on at the movies?

Get Ready for the January Solar Eclipse!

We've got a big solar eclipse coming up on January 15.

This is something that can make a big difference for you and everything you do, from your personal life to your career to your financial situation. How it connects with you personally will depend mainly on where the eclipse falls in your natal horoscope. Just look at where the solar eclipse hits in your chart, mainly in the way of which house it falls in, and be sure to look at the opposite house location as well. Check the first house and the seventh house, the second house and the eighth house, the third house and the ninth house, etc.

On a bigger scale this solar eclipse is important all over the world, not just the places where it will be visible. So we can expect it to have a big impact on the stock market and politics, too. Tim Bost, the editor at http://www.financialcyclesweekly.com has written a good report on those things and put them in a new monograph called "The Solar Eclipse of January 2010: Its Impact on the Marktets". You can order it at http://www.harmonicresearchassociates -- I like it a lot, and I bet you do, too.

LIght at the End of a Long, Dark Tunnel

It's a funny thing.
The government numbers and the economic poobahs are saying that the recession is over.
Or almost over, or thinking about starting to be over, or something like that.
But almost everybody I've been talking too is super stressed out. Just about all of them think that things are getting worse instead of better.
They're probably right.
I think it must have something to do with the Saturn-Uranus opposition series. It cranked up last year just in time to start a stock market crash. It's kept up its action as we have watched big banks and big auto companies getting bailouts.
And it won't be over until the Summer of 2010.
And even after that we still have the Cardinal Climax to deal with.
So I think we will see a lot more darkness before the dawn.

Maybe It's the Moon!

Have you ever noticed how important your basic attitude is when it comes to achieving financial success?

Actually, that's true in every part of life. If we expect success, we get success. If we expect to suffer or to get unhappiness, that tends to be what we get.

In astrology the factor that's most connected with our attitudes and our emotions is the Moon. That's why we should pay attention to the Moon especially.

What does the Moon do in your natal chart?

What sign is the Moon in right now?

How far away from the Full Moon are we? Are we moving away from the Full Moon or toward the Full Moon?

If you don't know the answers to these basic astrology questions, it's time for you to visit the astrologer of your choice!

Rich or Poor, Can You Get Along with Gemini?

How to Be Successful in a Relationship with a Gemini
from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Living with a Gemini can be a fun and rewarding thing to do if you know how to deal with them. Hopefully here is a few pointers on how to do so written by a Gemini and his partner.

Steps

  1. Geminis don't like routine, we like to be spontaneous so don't try too hard to push us into one and be ready to up and go at anytime to join us on our latest venture.
  2. Geminis if you believe what astrology says are highly intelligent so make sure they have plenty of mental stimulation or new and exciting things to avoid them getting bored.
  3. Don't rely on them too much. Its not that we will intend to let you down more that we will become engrossed in something and will forget to pick you up from the station or be on time for that date.
  4. Humor us, you might not want to listen to the latest mad idea we have but by listening or even helping us carry these ideas out will go a long way and don't worry we'll soon forget it and move onto something else.
  5. Remember that we are just a little neurotic! Well maybe a lot more then just a little but we tend to live off our nerves. If we have something ticking over in our minds we find it impossible to sleep until the problem is solved.
  6. Don't get too annoyed at us for not finishing things. It's not that we cant more that we've moved on to something else.
  7. As with any starsign, make us feel special.

Warnings

  • Life with a Gemini is never a dull moment so if you like continuity you may have chosen the wrong person unless you are willing to accept this.
  • There are 2 types of Gemini, a "high" Gemini and a "low" Gemini. Make sure you find out which you are with fast. A "low" Gemini uses his mind in all the wrong ways and will be very good at manipulating people around him. These types of Gemini are masters of deceit and as a consequence you'll never be able to trust them. As we all should know a relationship without trust is one that is doomed to failure.
  • Gemini's love to be argumentative.
  • Gemini and Scorpio= argue all day.

I've mentioned this website feature before, but the good news is that's now also available by email subscription-- and it's free!

That's right. The website at www.FinancialCyclesWeekly.com now has a new feature available-- a free Tip of the Week for Astro-Traders!

There's generally some cool stuff in each Astro-Traders' Tip. Sometimes it's specifically about astrology, and sometimes it's more about "how to trade" type strategies, but either way you'll typically find something valuable there.

If you're interested in putting astrology to work in making some serious money in the markets, this is definitely worth checking out.

Astrologer Fears Fantasy Accounting

Financial astrologer Henry Weingarten of the Astrologers Fund, noted this week that "banks, jobs, and housing" are the key areas to watch right now. "Until the bleeding has stopping in ALL three categories," he says, "we will not see the bottom of the US economy.

"How much of bank profits is due to fantasy accounting? I fear far too much.

"Has the Bleeding of jobs stopped? No.

"Is the bottom in the Real Estate market? No."
